It’s hard to believe that it’s the first of May already. Where has the year gone?
Here in Florida, the sun is brightly shining, and everything is blooming in vivid and vibrant colors. Our veggie garden is thriving and we’re working on new landscaping and flower beds.
Come mid-afternoon, it’s time to take a break in the shade, with a cold glass of iced tea, and spend a little down-time enjoying a wonderful story.
We have a few great suggestions for your to add to your springtime reading list.
First up, is Betty Bolte’s Fury Falls Inn series. While we’re anxiously awaiting DESPERATE REFLECTIONS, book three’s release on May 11th, the author has put books one and two; THE HAUNTING OF FURY FALLS INN (99¢) and UNDER LOCK AND KEY ($1.99), on sale for the entire month of May. I was totally blown away by A BEND IN THE RIVER. It’s a remarkable historical fiction standalone novel. Be sure to grab your copy while the sale last.
I was fortunate enough to get to read an ARC of USA Today bestselling author Stephany Tullis’s upcoming new short story, Blue Lady's DÉJÀ VU on the SEAS. It’s a story of an emotional journey of personal exploration and search for self. It explores a woman’s fear, confusion and healing, asking the question: Which takes more courage—ignoring the fear or staring it in the face? I also want to mention the re-release of Running On Empty by Author A.L. Vincent. It was recently updated with added content and a beautiful new cover. Last, but certainly not least, is GONE TOO FAR, book 2 in multi-award-winning author Debra Webb’s Devlin & Falco series. If you remember the first book in the series, TRUST NO ONE was an Amazon Charts Bestseller and even had a billboard in Times Square (seriously). It currently has over 17,000 reviews with an average 4-1/2-star ranking. While I totally LOVED book 1, in my humble opinion book 2 is even better. As an added bonus it’s available to to read in Kindle Unlimited. Do yourself a favor and download this fast-paced action thriller today.
